Default 2012 Toyota 4Runner build

Thought I would take a couple of minutes to share my 4Runner. It is a work in progress that began about three months ago. I'm a new return to the hobby so I am learning as I go. All work in the vehicle has been performed by me.

Head unit - Kenwood DDX372bt
DSP - Helix
DSP Controller - Director
High Amp - Zapco Z 150.6 LX
Sub Amp - Zapco Z1KD
Subs - (3) JL Audio 12W3v3's
Highs - PPI P65C3
Alarm - Viper 3305v w/ backup battery, glass breakage sensor, back up siren

Custom pillars housing the tweeters.

Dash speakers.

Door speakers and some deadening.

More deadening.

Director installed in the sunglasses compartment.

Speaker wire and temp controller area.

Power / ground area.

The goodies.

Thank you.

Today I worked on a few more little details. After all, it's all in the details...

First off, I got rid of the phillips head screws holding the barrier strips. I used threaded brass inserts and security torx screws.

Inserts...

Torx screws...

Next I put a little velcro between the two speaker cover panels. This tightens it up a hair but more importantly it blocks the light from showing up between the panels.

Before.

Now. I'll get a better picture with the lights on later.

Last but not lease I made a little demostration board to show most of the wiring I used as well as hardware that I've used.

Not a bad Weekend at Springfest in Ohio, a triple points MECA show. Third place SQ Street. First place Street Install. Best of Show Install.

I'm happy.

New speakers installed in the doors and factory dash locations. Now I just need to do some tuning.

Audible Physics speakers are just so damn pretty!!!
