Didn't like the way the old DD looked and performed so I pulled out the Kenwood 512 I had in my dash and installed a Alpine W505. Needless to say I had to make things a little bit bigger. About 1" bigger Horizontally, and 3/4" Vertically.
Old HU:

First I purchased a second W505 Trim ring:

Then I glassed it into the Bezel. I literally had to trim back the bezel plastic from the vent to the clips to get this thing to squeeeeeze in there, but it fit nicely.........With a little TLC (Trimwork, Liqueur and Cussing)

Clean up the front a little bit, as that is what is seen the most:

A little high build primer to wet sand down:

A little high gloss paint to assure there are no imperfections:

And some Bezel paint from Advance Auto then snap it back together:

All done!! Click Pic to view Video Clip.

I have 25 watts going to my components (Memphis: 15-MCS5 x2 sets,15-MC42, 16-XO3) and 100 watts going to my subs (15-MCP12D4 x2). Enough bass to keep me tightening screws and bolts. Amp (Big Belle 1300) never gets warm.

I cannot keep up with the guys who can put thousands of watts to mids and highs. lol! I would break or melt something, royally.

Before and after of the durango is pretty insane.

I can never let my wife see this thread or I'll have to get creative with my next substage. Turning my suv into a 4seater with 0 cargo room still hasn't sat well with her lol.

I don't care if you are only running 10watts, this is a superb install. One of the coolest things I've seen on here with the before/after and sub/amp placement. Great work and even better creativity
