Default some ideas??

Im very disappointed how this box looks, its not a prefab its actually a custom box with 5.5cubs and 36hz, with slot ports on the side... its about twice as big in person as it looks in the pic.. but anyone have any ideas on if i should maby make some flush panels? or should i just start a new box? im happy with how it sounds, but not how it looks,

what i would do...
1. take off the ugly carpet..
2. cut and put on a flush mount baffle..
3. put on a rhino liner or get a different style carpet that doesnt roll up and come off so bad..

i like making kerfed boxes and painting the ports one color and using rhino liner on the rest of the box.. and flushing the amp on the box somewhere so u can run all ur wires hidden inside the amp compartment..

buy new carpet. the rest looks fine. Fancy stuff won't make it sound better.

you can't see it when you are driving anyway so what does it matter?

^^this, except I'd wouldn't make the box any wider, I'd use the extra space for a battery box and amp rack on the side with either a beauty panel or a shelf with a sealed face. That way you don't have to worry about hitting the amps or batts when you put stuff in the back, and you've got extra room to upgrade batts/amps if you want. And you can hide all the wiring that way, too.

EDIT: also that way you can put stuff on top of the box without putting it on the amps, like a sheet of mdf And the orientation of the amps would ideally be on an angle, facing the rear so it doesn't interfere with your ports, and hides the batt box.

box should be bigger. 6 cubes would be good for the pair

I would push the box to the middle.. on one side have an amp rack where the amps are on their sides (like the heatsink) so that you can fit them.. and the other side, a nice small narrow battery. then make a beauty panel and wrap that up in the same carpet to hide all the wires, amps and battery..
