Very nice. Thas a big box for one sub lol but if I were you, I'd cut that piece out that's corroded and rusted and weld it up w/ some 3/8" steel, and never look at it again lol. But you could probably scrub it up w/ a wire brush and get it clean, then spray some anti-rust primer/paint on it, to keep it from continuing to corrode.

i like the way you think on the paint i dont think ima weld it... the car will be a daily driver until i get a new car then its just a toy!
i talked to super-stanny on termpro and he said they work amazing in 16cf for walls
plus im making the regular port for daily a bit on the small side hopfully that will keep the sub from bottoming out at lower frequencys
i still gotta figure out the best way to secure the walls to the bottom and top because it will be assembled in the car, im for sure using glue but to hold it until it dries? maybe use the angle screw thing on them so i can put the screws in on a angle and they sit flush.

looks good I built my box inside the car too and glue really doesnt hold to well mostly because you can't clamp well enough untill it dries, what worked for me was fiberglass resin it dries pretty fast(if you put alot of hardener) and soaks into the mdf great

Diggin the new wing...

I assume you use a scraper or short hair paint brush to spread the glue so the entire 2x4 or panel is covered. MUCH better adhesion that way.

I've built numerous walls inside cars/suv's and glue holds fine. use plenty of screws to pull the panels tight while the glue dries and also plan out the cuts/assembly so you can reach every place that needs to be screwed...
