Default center console section custom work

ok guys this is my first time EVER attempting any modification/glass work let me know what you think and any suggestions you may have. this is the front section from under my dash going into my center console. was nothing but 2 pockets to hold crap. now it will hold switches to a few things and volt meters going to various locations. for now this is what i got done this weekend. more work to do as i still see imperfection in the paint..when everything is said and done it will have a beautiful clear coat finish that will be wet sanded down with some 2000 grit ( yes i said 2k lol) for a sexy smooth glassy finish.

this was what i started with....holes at the top was from my old volt meter

taking the pockets out....

after frame work is done and placing meters where i wanted them...

wrapped and ready for some glassin...

i didnt get any photos after i glassed it but here is after some filler...

after coats of filler and plenty of sanding it was time to apply the primer...

after first coat of paint and mock up with meters and switches....

I think it looks pretty damn good for your first time, you floated it in pretty well.

why 3500s instead of 5500s, and link to alt?

im only running 2 custom 18s out of atomic 856 motors in a wall built in a 2000 explorer sport...no room for 4 18s and have enough port area or i would have went that rout with amps ( i only have roughly 50 cubes behind the front seats for everything)...ill be seeing roughly 10-11k after rise and voltage drop i hope..as for the link i dont have one...i went through one of his reps here in ohio..shoot me a pm and ill give you the contact info for the rep.
