2008 chevy silverado 1500 crewcab LT
copied and pasted from my craigslist ad.
What has been done to it:
color matched bumper, bumper ends, and valence
partial demold ( drivers side hasnt been done yet )
TGC 2.5" level kit
17" Eagle Alloys
285/70/17 BFGoodrich All-Terrains (about 45% tread left)
Engine, transmission, and exhaust are all stock.
Things wrong with it:
Cylinder 2 has about 20% lower compression than the rest of the cylinders and my mechanic is certain its a lifter issue.
Transmission has a bit of a wine shifting from first to second gear.
The rear passenger door has damage to it and needs to be re-aligned, still opens and closes but not smoothly. ( see pictures )
The cracks in the dash that the NNBS silverados and tahoes are known for.
I still owe on this truck so im selling it for a little more than what i owe. I plan to sell it out right to clear myself from it and pay my credit union and you receive the title in the mail. If you want to refinance the truck under your name that's fine too but i ask for cash upfront also so i can make a down payment on a more economical truck. For anyone with a little cash to have the work done or the know how can have a great truck for a great price, i just don't have the time, money, or resources to do the repairs it needs. I have taken very well care of this truck aside from what has gone wrong with it, always kept it clean and stayed on top of maintenance
I'm asking under Kelly Blue Book fair asking price, so i am firm. No low ballers, serious buyers only. no trades. Remember, this is a 7 year old truck so if you are just gonna come pick it apart, please dont bother, my asking price is very fair.
i could trade it in for about the same but i thought i may be able to get someone a decent deal on the truck, even after repair costs you are still cheaper than any other truck this year and body style.
