if you can only find a schematic for it that is fine as well and i would perfer it to be 12v

16ch, 256 lights. Wee bit pricey but for what it is, it's not all that bad IMHO.

At 10 cents each, 256 LED's would be $25.60 alone. Blue LED's are considerably more expensive than the ones molded in color, so if they're blooooo it'll cost more.

Also, the more complex the circuitry, the more expensive it'll be. You could rig up a simple sound driven light circuit that has two or three channels fairly cheap but as the number of channels increases the cost will increase.

yeah that VU meter would be sick but is a bit out of price range im looking at, at most about 50 for the whole thing a schematic would be awesome too cause then i could just buy the parts seperate just a mater of finding the right ICs

true but i was looking to do 4-6 channels max
