Pretty sure Im not near you kernal. Im a 618 area code and Im just outside St. Louis.

My issue I have is Im planning on running DDs M4a amp to run the 18s. Ive been lookin at mechman alts they have their SMD spec 350 amp alt but its external regulated an tends to throw charge lights. So Im tryin to decide if I want to just bump up the original alt to their 270 amp unit an run mids an highs off that. Then get a dual alt bracket an have that 350 an use it strictly for the subs an not have to worry about it throwing lights. Id really rather just use the 350 so I only have one alt but yeah i unno what do you guys think

scratch that I didnt see the 390a alt DC offers that doesnt throw lights so now that i have the alt figured out how do I go about wiring up the 2 3100s I plan on using do I just wire them off the front battery which will also be a 3100 or should I make a couple runs from the alt to the batteries in the back?
