Post Introduction, System Overview, & Where I Started

Hey I'm new to car audio forums and actually this is my first one. Currently a 20 yr old college student ROOOLL TIIIIDE! My current system is a 2002 Tahoe with a side slider iPad in dash, Pioneer AVH-6300BT, 2 HC 2000 Kinetik Bats, a SSL 5000, a Kole 1400.4, JVC CS-V627 for he front, I dont know/remember what's in back, 2 headrest monitors, and 2 Kicker CVR 15. OH i forgot and 6 generic tweets in the pillars, which don't sound bad because I'm pretty sure they're blown, well at least some of them. Most of this system still stems from my very first system I bought when I was 16 (started saving at 15). Only difference was I had a 4000 watt 4 channel legacy amp; never installed it, sold it. 2 "2000 watt" Legacy 15" subs that I blew. And a dual flip out cd player that came with the truck.
I guess I'm kinda doing things in reverse because I actually bought a Rockford T3000.1 from Basshead about 1.5 weeks back. Gonna change a few things up. Going with 2 15" L7s (let the bashing begin). Lastly, probably going to pick up another amp for the speakers. Anyway if you read all this thanks; feedback is welcome and appreciated. And glad to be apart of the community.

Are you getting dual 2 or 4 ohm subs? On a good electrical system, I can't see 2 l7s holding up to the t30001bd.

4 l5s will give you more cone area and more coils to take the power. it it should be louder also.

nice to have you here.

L7's like big azz boxes. they can get loud, but wait a little bit before getting them, there are a lot of other very good options.

I bought the L7s for about $350-$375 under the impression that they were dual 2 ohm and i was going to buy another to wire at 1 ohm...So i buy they get them out of the box and......dual 4ohm of course. I kinda figured they wouldnt cause the birth sheet says 3731 @ 1 ohm but i dont see myself buying another L7 to wire it @ 2.6 ohms

get the third and wire it to .66 ... although, this might not be the most ideal for daily...
