Default Newby from TX

Hey guys, new here wanted to introduce myself and ask for some help

Vehicle: 99 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie SLT quad cab

Equipment to date: Kenwood Excelon Deck with removable faceplate, 2 kicker comp 12d4 and a kicker cvr 12 d4 wired to a sony 2 channel 1,000 watt amp by wiring two comps to 2 ohms, and the cvr to two ohms on each channel. Custom ported box for the cvr tuned at 33.78 hz after all displacements, and the two comps in a custom sealed box built by me, front door sony xplode 6x9 3 ways, rear door kicker 6.5 coaxial, and pioneer 5.25 coaxial, and stock 130 amp alt.

On bench waiting for install: 1/0 royal excellence welding cable 25' red, 25' black, tsunami battery terminals, tsunami mini anl fuse holder, 250 amp fuses, 100 amp fuses, big 3, 4 inch aeroport

Purchasing within next two months: MTX thunderform sub unloaded for 2 10's, Deka Intimidator or equivalent underhood battery, Shurion or Deka for the bed with a run of 1/0, pioneer single din flipout 7 inch headunit, image design 6.5 components for front, image design 6.5 rears, amp for speakers and subs, lots of sound deadener, assortment of wiring, speaker install adaptors, and 2 10 inch subs.

My question lies here for the two 10 inch woofers. I have narrowed it down to 3, Sundown sa 10, sundown sd-2 10, and alpine type r 10.

From the list of subs above, what would be best for basically a fiberglass box, internal volume of 1.7cuft, and 5.5 inches of mounting depth?

Easiest to install would be sd-2 because only 4.25 of mounting depth, but considering i already have to make a mounting ring, im curious of which would sound best sealed? I may port the box using an aeroport 4" dimpled port tuned to 33 hz if i dont like sealed, i listen to everything from heavy rap to rock with alot of double bass. The box prevents the seat from sitting directly on top of the subs, but i would like to keep xmax somewhat reasonable from slapping the seat bottom even though i can always fold seat up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated from this newb, thanks guy!

I had 1 sa-10 d2 running off a mb quart 1500 for my first build. It was impressive , and for the price, it's a great buy. It really does move a lot of air, and if you tune your box right, it will hit lows like a champ

I also used a 10" type r in a prefab box, it was decent, but I probably would've been more impressed if I put it in a custom box. Personally I would go with the sa-10's but if you're concerned about the space, you should probably get the sd's
