Talking New to the page

So I'm relatively new to the car audio world. I mean, I have always had bass in the car. But it wasn't until the last 2 years or so did I really start getting into it and turned into a true BASSHEAD. I am chasing trunk numbers for the time being. I am currently running 2 Powerbass 3xl 152Ds on a Powerbass XTA4000D amplifier. I did have them running on an Alpine MRX-M240. My best numbers so far are a 146.5 on the dash and a 148.5 in the kick. All this is on stock electrical and no big three. Trunk not sealed up and a box with insane rise. So I feel like I can get a 150+ out of her. Then I will proceed with a 4th order wall with 6 of them in my car. All of this is in a 2006 Chrysler 300 Limited AWD. I will be upgrading my electrical before I do anything else. I hope to have everything rebuilt by the start of the 2017 season out here. Any input or comments or concerns or anything please feel free to comment and let me know what you think. THANKS FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE ON HERE!!

Welcome....

Just a heads up, I highly doubt you have the proper space to do a 6 15 bp wall. And its never optimal to cram stuff. I found out the hard way walling a little saturn with more subs than I should have....

Read some threads on here, ask questions etc.

I know 300s are good size cars, but you might ideally be looking at more of a 3 15 bp wall. Which is totally fine. 3 15s walled on 4k can still be brutal in a good design

Thumbs up I can dig it

I totally understand what you're saying. I had seen one with 8 15s in a 4th in a 300. Wasn't too awfully violent but still sounded ok. So I was thinking with 6 it could sound better. At the very least I want to do 4 of them in a flat wall. My team captain has 4 B2 15s in a flat wall in his Taurus and they get down. With my car being bigger I was thinking it would work. I will definitely start perusing the forums and posts for all the available information that is out there. At this point I am soaking up any and all input I can get. I really appreciate the comment and the tips. If you have any other ideas or comments I am always open to hear them.

BP take up alot more space than flat walls. You could easily flat wall 4 15s, maybe 6 depending on how much volume you can get.

Unless you are doing like a 1:1 with not a ton of port, I cant see fitting more than 3 or 4 15s in a bp... 8 15s in a 4th should have pretty much ripped your face off if done properly. If it only sounded ok, thats a fail. 8 15s should be 160 these days
