First and foremost, hi, I'm Chris.
Mostly joined this forum because I'm on a hunt for an lc6i which was just on sale on jet for 65 bucks after their coupon, but before I pulled the trigger they must have ran out of stock :/
So, after finding this site, the first post in the Head Units, Processors & EQs forum is for one such product so hopefully I can pick that up shortly.
Regarding the setup, it's a 2016 Accord with the pewny 130W headunit or whatever it is so that needs an upgrade. Since all the aftermarket options that would work for that car that don't look like crap cost way more than I'm looking to spend, I plan on going the lc6i route with 2 amps and new speakers all around.
I have some MB Quart speakers laying around, they're 50-130W up front and 60-150W in the rear if I recall correctly. Also have crossovers for the fronts as they have tweeters. Also currently looking for an amp that will support those speakers as the old Alpine I have is only about 40 RMS per channel.
For the sub/mono I have the Infinity 1262W and the Infinity 1300a which should be more than enough for what I want.
I'm thinking I will probably need a capacitor as well, just in case.
Anywho, if anyone has some pointers for the setup or suggestions as to which amp to run for the speakers that'd be great. I was initially only looking to add a sub to the rear but then since I had the speakers, etc., I figured why not so I'm not really looking to spend too much on one of those either. I was looking at the AUTOTEK SMA1500.4 Street Machine amp which seems an amazing deal at about 60 bucks or so. Advertised at 185 RMS per channel at 4 Ohms it seems a steal. Anyone have any experience with that particular brand or amp?
