Default hello. permatex or loctight for surround

hi jason my name, i have a soundstream Ta3000.d amp running soundqubed 15 subs. My question is im recone the soundqubed, i know amazing goop is what ill use on the spider landing, but can i use permatex epoxy for the surround. it has a bonding strength of 3500 psi and 30 min working time or should in get the next step down with 3400 psi 5 min working time? ive saw where people use loctight, but the permatek is avaliable for me cheaper.

Use the amazing goop for the surround too. I personally wouldn't use goop for the spider landing though.

I used e6000 to re-glue a sub that was having issues with the factory glue. It worked perfectly. I think it's only a few bucks for a tube and you can pick it up at walmart.

I meant that i would use goop for the surround and permatex epoxy 3500 psi strength for the landing.im waiting on soundqubed to ship out my recone. i bought this sub from a kid locally and the coil looked good, no sound of scuffing when pushed on the face and very stiff. got home hooked it up and rattled like the dickens, 30 mins from the time i bought it,he said i did it,i was soooo upset. thank god soundqubed did discount the recone kit for me.

Amazing goop for the surround but I wouldn't use it for the spiders
Use epoxy for the spiders.
I've had really good results with loctite's epoxy for spiders.
