Default New Member from South GA GMC Sierra 1500

Hello, I have a 2011 Gmc Sierra ext cab 1500 without the bose audio. Couple of years ago I payed a local audio store to put in 2 shallow mount kicker 10in subs in a custom box with a kicker amp. I still have the factory head-unit non-Bose.

I believe this is the correct amp I have:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...=AJYZ22R6PYFT6

And 2 of these subs in a box under the fold down rear bench seat:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...A1DXN92KCKEQV4

I've never posted here before so not really sure what i'm doing. Just cant get any advice on what to do. I don't want to have to remove my factory head-unit but I know thats why the bass sounds so bad. The whole system sounds bad.

Is there any way to improve without having to change the look and not spend a ton of money?

Thanks for any advice guys

can you send a picture of where the settings are on the amp?
maybe it could be as simple as adjusting a few things

no offense but that is fairly low end gear and it is in no way going to be mind blowing when set up correctly.
a h/u will help alot as far as tunability and getting everything sounding correct.

whats your budget as far as "fixing" this setup?

I?ll post a picture of the settings on the Amp when I get off work. And I?d like to put 300$ max more into it to make its sound somewhat decent. Just some what better than stock quality and some bass.

Here is the settings. I have never adjusted them. Let the guy at the audio store do that when he put it in. All I mainly listen to is classic rock/hip-hop

Is there a port in the box that's facing into an open area? If not and those subs are firing against the floor with nowhere for the sound to travel it's not going to make any difference.
