Default From Mile High Denver

What up always been into systems since a kid finally starting to try and build somethin bad ass so that I can pound daily. Entry level enthusiast hoping to build some coo connections or maybe even cop something nice for a good deal. Everyone loves deals. I am currently running a Kicker zx2500.1 and a jl audio w7 12 which is an ok sub given that its where sq meets somewhat SPL, apples and oranges. It's actually my back up sub. I had a PPI PC18DS and that sub was a beast until I blew her I think from either clipping (something stupid af happened of course a lesson) or just giving her the beating. I still have it hoping to get recone. either that or im looking for a second W7 for a steal I think I can get a second 300 400 range which is decent. I think a second would do the job. Im into old school stuff of course, not the wisest or richest but I know some stuff and touched a lot of the stuff that's out there. The only thing is I have the siccness and I dont have the money to treat it at this moment but I'm saving up to hopefully find that cure

If anyone is seeing this... Say if I wanted to get a recone done would I have to pay for the membership and then post in classified? Or how do I create a thread asking this question would that violate the terms? New guy just trying to see how things work on here been looking at the site for a while just decided to join today

Okay I have a question. I was able to find the recone kit online for exact same woofer. My goal is to keep the look it has if possible. Its a double spider kinda like the old Stroker which is really cool. I just would have no idea on how to take the center piece off. It has allen wrench screws and i took them off, but the piece which is a dome looking thing still would not budge. Do I pretty much have to cut away at the top spider to figure it out or? Not sure if it screws or is just glued real well.

Do you have a full recone kit? Spider, cone, foam, coil?

Yes the recone comes with everything you listed it has two spiders and what looks like a replacement washer that connects this phase plug looking thing to the top spider not sure how that piece even comes off I was thinking of dissecting it in an attempt to see exactly how that pice comes off. Ill try to find pics of the parts.
