So a couple of weeks ago, a good buddy of mine told me about this site. (I don't know his screen name off hand, but I will post it probably tomorrow). Reluctantly, I checked it out. Needless to say, I am thrilled that there is such a wide community of buyers, sellers, and enthusiasts like myself that are near me and abroad.
About me: My name is Don, and I am the owner of The Mad Scientist (along with two of my close buds) here in Columbus, OH. I like old school amps, particularly rare old school amps, and walks on the beach. Jk. Except for the old school amps part, I wasn't kidding. I also attend college in pursuit of a degree in electronics engineering technology, and coupled with my fascination with car audio, I sprouted an interest in repairing amps (I can't fix everything yet, but I'm getting pretty close).
I have a fair selection of my "personal" amps, which will probably not be for sale until I'm old and gray, and maybe not even then lol. I intend on adding to my collection as time passes and equipment comes up for sale. So yes, I guess this could be considered a subtle invitation to sell me your old and/or rare quality amps (broken or functional).
And this part is kinda redundant, but I'm new so if you msg me or something and I don't get back immediately, I assure you it's just me figuring out how things work here and not me ignoring you.
I look forward to buying, selling, trading, and BSing with you all, and I thank you for having me here.
