Default Extreem bass intro

Just wondering if an of you guys have ever heard a custom 4th order bandpass enclosure. They surpass the ported and sealed enclosures in low end and overall output. Its all I will ever build. I will post some pics once i figure out how to post. Looking forward to doing business and chatting later,

Default my enclosures

the first 2 pics are of my tc 3000 15" sub in a 5 cubic ft dual port 4th order bandpass. the ports are tuned to 58 hz and it has an output of 158db at at 38hz with an input power of 2500 watts.

the next 3 are of my new enclosure which houses 2 jl 13 w7s both of which i rebuilt with 1.6 ohm single copper voice coils. Unfortunately they are less efficiant than the tc sounds at 2500 watts but i think maybe they could handle 4000 watts for some skull crushing lows if i upgrade.

Basically you get the benefit of a ported and sealed enclosure with these types of boxes. Better power handling higher output and overall better response. These are definately worth the 1 week period it takes to construct them.

what do you guys think

very true 158 with 2500 watts is a pretty large claim though

i failed to mention the tc 3000 motor is not stock . I removed the ferrite from a jl 13w7 by putting it on the stove and forcing it off with 300 pounds of force .then I constructed the motor with a lightning audio storm top and bottom plate and drilled and tapped it to fit the tc top assembley. I do this for fun

BTW I wasn't assuming you didn't no what a bandpass was .but have you ever seen a descent one from a manufacturer or owned one that that didn't explode with to much power.
