You will most likely find more answers in the General Car Audio and Questions Forum, because not as many check the orientation forum, at least not expecting to answer questions, just to say welcome etc.
Most likely your going to want to go with 4-0 gauge power and grounds (the bigger the better for when you plan to upgrade... but if you cannot fit larger wire in your amp, you may have to go smaller), depending on power and amp, speaker wire maybe 10-16 gauge or some 8 gauge running from sub to box and box to amp and I have no clue about the maxxlink.
But for the sub people will need to know the voice coil config. and what amp you are using, your box size is also a good thing to know. But basically, svc you wire it at whatever the coils are, dvc you can wire in parallel or series (parallel creates lower ohm, series creates higher... (ex 2ohm dvc would be 1ohm parallel and 4ohm series) So, ideally you would want to match the amp at the ohm load to your subs RMS; do not look at the max power.
