Default I grew up in the Hood...Only 2 other cities are worse than mine haha

According to forbes.com, "The Springfield, Ill., metropolitan area ranks third on our list with 855 violent crimes per 100,000 residents in 2010. The Illinois state capital confounds analysts who try to interpret its relatively high crime rate. The unemployment rate was lower than the national average at 7% as of July so the economy wouldn’t seem to play a major role in crime. The area’s relatively young population – 66% of the city is under the age of 44 – may be a factor, as younger areas generally have higher rates of crime."

O yeah everyone says they live in the ghetto. I have basically grew up in the 3rd most dangerous city in the US

Never seen this one coming i just think its funny

That sucks. I've lived in some pretty rough places, but never in one place for too long. Projects in 3 major cities and all of them sucked ass. Your area affects who you are as a person, but its up to the individual to rise above their surroundings

Springfield really aint that bad thats whats funny. We have the hood taking over all of Springfield and pushing all the nice rich people to the small towns that surround Springfield. There are a couple spots here and there that are bad (Basically the whole East side) but it aint like if you go thru there your gonna get shot at.
