today had to drive to south texas for the company i work for and drop some stuff off anyways
i make it 10 miles into texas and i get pulled over.
well i asked the cop why he pulled me over cause i wasn't speeding and he looks at me like i am stupid and says " Your windows are to dark, i couldn't see if you had your seat belt on or not " so any ways i am driving a dodge 3/4 ton pulling a 20 ft flat bed no big deal right?
well this jacka** starts walking around my truck and trailer and give a level 3 DOT inspection ok no big deal WELL I WAS WRONG!!!!!!!! this guy walks around to the back of his suburban
and pulls out these stainless plates and starts laying them in front of my trailer and tells me to drive up on the plates well they were a set of scales !!!!! so i pull up on them and get out and the cop walks to my driver door reads the label and says hmmmmm (never good) get out this little pad does a little bit of math and looks at me and says your over weight . In aww i said over weight and he said yes over weight your truck is only allowed to pull 8900 lbs and your trailer and load weigh 9500 lbs all this at 8 am btw
he gets this little box out and goes to the driver door put this little box over the glass and says hmmm now i know i am screwed looks at me and says lets go to my office ...
