Default Farmers. This Worth Keeping Or Scrap?

021.JPG

Pretty sure it goes at the end/sides of a plow. I googled the patent a while back, but I tossed it back in the shed & it's too cold to go back out there lol. Never found any of em online.

It's kind of ornate. Spring still works.

It'd be kina neat to blast & paint. The lettering, of course a different color

More than likely scrap. Don't know in particular what that is but old equipment like that doesn't have a ton of value(some value but not much). in general

Coming from someone who's family has barns full of stuff like that. Mostly sentimental value though for us.

Gotchya. I figured perhaps perhaps it's that "missing piece" that's difficult to find when restoring something. Guess not lol

Like I said. Not sure on what exactly that is. I just have a general idea of what that type of stuff is worth. Someone may pay a few bucks for it but I know around where I grew up stuff like that goes up on auction all the time. Doesn't bring much. Might get some but don't expect a gold mine out fo it.

Possibly or maybe like a harvester tooth or whatever you call it.

Do not scrap it. Atleast throw it up on the bay, and give someone a chance to snag it. The craftsmanship that was used years ago to make it, makes it worth something,.
