Default Confusing myself.

So.. is it normal to like the planning and building of your build more than you like listening to it?
I enjoyed every bit of learning about what's good and what's not, and what I need for this, or that. I liked running the wires, spending 6 hours doing it so I could get it just the way I wanted. Love building the box I am currently still building.
I'm just not very stoked to listen to my new set-up as I was planning it, and setting it all up.
Seems like I'm just going to be wanting to take it all out and start planning another one because that's what I really enjoyed about the whole process.

Ugh. Come run my wires and do my doors. I HATE that part of it. I love all the sub and amp testing though.

Will do! Haven't even finished this install yet, but already looking at newer stuff!

I'd gladly do it, if you paid for the gas there and back! And maybe some food. I'd probably get hungry. You'd have to tell me what you want, because I don't know what the "correct" way to do it is. I just ran my wires along the sides of my vehicle, underneath the plastic covers that hold the carpet down, and underneath carpet in some spots, all the way back to the cargo area of my jeep. It's what worked, and the way I wanted it. That's the only thing that matters to me.

I honestly don't care about numbers, or anything. Maybe down the road. Only thing I care about is if I like it. Don't really care if others don't. In my opinion, if you love the way you set your stuff up, it's the best there is.

I'd LOVE to learn how to test subs and amps, and learn how to properly clamp, and tune everything. I really want to learn how to recone, and have the perfect opportunity to learn. Local guy sold me a blown Kicker CVX 12" for 15 bucks, I just have no idea where to start, and it'd be easier to have someone in person show me, rather than trying to understand from reading over the internet.

Thanks for the replies guys! Kinda sucks I don't have the money to be able to switch set-ups all the time!

Seems to be a popular trend as others had said. When it comes to the final project, your always gonna want more. You can always enjoy doing it the best you can, thats why i find during my builds I love it. But after its all said and done I always want to try something different. I actually ended up with three easily removable systems, spl box, daily, and small daily (so I got most the cargo area room when need be).

No one is every truly 100% satisfied with a build, there is always something you wanna change, or try, or try to avoid next time around. Its what makes this a hobby. Otherwise everyone would simply do a single build, be happy and leave it at that.
