Default What does credit have to do with car insurance??

Seems like every time that I get a new insurance bill for auto insurance the rate goes up...and is based on credit. I don't get how these 2 tie in together. I know I'm behind in my bills/mortgage but this is ridiculous. Credit shouldn't have any affect on car insurance. Someone explain. --end rant.

Credit effects everything you do. Is basically like itrader here on the site. The Better your credit the cheaper things are. Credit score is like a feedback report if you were buying/selling something on ebay or what not. They base part of your premium off of credit because you maybe have had some trouble in the past paying some bills.

I agree. This to me thinks the insurance company is a way to make more money. So like I stated, I'm haveing to catch up now on bills....doesn't make it any easier to increase the price. Now it's makin it even harder for me.

insurance companies want to know if you pay the bills on time,.. ya know, like insurance bills.

fnck credit and credit scores, anyway. all it does is give people a basis to be marginalized with.

credit gets you everywhere..
it shows you ACTUALLY pay bills ON TIME

credit can get you a shiny new car off the lot for 0 money down..
as if no crdit person walked up theyd have to pay down payment or get turned down

the better credit you got the cheaper everything gets really
