Default Cut wood from Home Depot or Lowes?

Has anyone asked the ppl at Home Depot or Lowes to cut a sheet of wood to precise measurements? If so. How accurate were the cuts?
Thanks

I had them do it at Home Depot. All the pieces came out wrong and I ended up having to fix them, ultimately making my box smaller. But to be honest the guy making the cuts didnt seem all there haha

I have had both companies do it. Depends on the employee. I work at Home Depot. Me and a friend of mine can get the cuts pretty dang close to perfect but the saw has to be handled the right way. IFFFF they do not know the tricks, they will eff up the cuts. Ask the employee doing the cuts to see if they know the tricks.

The last few people ive got from Lowes have measured my cuts as well as I would so they did great, they were young and have built boxes before though

Damn, didn't know that was an option.

Think they would refund your money if they got the cuts wrong?

I've asked them before. Jose (the employee) actually told me he didn't want to cut them but he did. And they were actually within 1/16 or so and I made it work. But I've also gotten some pretty skewed cuts also. Caveat empor.

Home Depot AND lowes have a no precision cut policy so they dont have to refund you. My Home Depot has not charged before. The customer is always right bud. Especially at big companies like hd

Many of times.....

Funny story actually...

Told the "old" guy one time....

I nedd this sheet cut tight down the middle! Simple and easy... Dont know how he could screw it up...

One peice was 46" the other 50".... Lmao it says no precise cuts... Thats what he told us... Not precise to me is like 1/16th off... That... That is fawked up!

None the less the manager cut us a new piece

Always depends on the employee. Theres this one guy at the local lowes that does a great job so i tipped him 10 bucks one time, now every time he sees me he drops what he's doing to come cut some wood.
