Default Trying to fix electrical gremlin in concorde.

Hello all, I have a 95 Chrysler Concorde with 3.5l engine. My problem is, when I turn on my wipers, I hear a click, and it kills power to my radio, and wipers will not come on. If I leave wipers on, usually after a minute or 2, the wipers will start to work, and radio comes back on. I recently replaced the multi switch (hi/low lights, wiper, and turn) in steering column, but the problem is still there. I tested different relays in the fuse box under hood also. Should I be checking into the wiper motor itself next? I also read about a body control module, but haven't been able to link it specifically to my problem. Any suggestions, ideas are greatly appreciated..

Wiper motor may have a short in it. If you have a DC clamp meter see what kind of current draw you have when it happens.

I think it's probably because that sub is not moving enough to allow it to cool.. Id turn the gain up a bit so it moves more for cooling reasons.. That's why it's hard on subs to be underpowered..

I don't have a clamp meter. My dmm took a crap on me the other day too. Could I just run a wire from positive battery to the wiper motor to see if it comes on? I read somewhere that there could be corrosion on contacts to the wiper motor, so Im thinking of removing the whole assembly and tearing it down...

Update: So after working on it for a while. I got the motor to kick on after wiggling some wires right behind wiper motor. however, when I went to turn it to high speed, it would run but I could hear relay clicking and it would stop after a second or so.Thenkeep starting and stopping. Im wondering if the motor is going bad and drawing too much amperage?

Also after I worked on car for about 20 min with interior light on, I tried to start car and it just clicked. I charged the battery at 1.5 amp for 1 hour, then the car started right up.So I took my 3 yr old everstart battery to advance auto. They tested it with a big silver box with anolog display. After testing it with car off, and with car running(load test). He told me my battery was still in great shape.
