Default Seriously???!!??!??

Seattle fast food restaurants closed by protests | www.kirotv.com

As far as I'm concerned, FF places are the lowest wages around. Unless you move up to management or even a store owner or franchisee....ff doesn't pay much. But to walk out demanding more $$.....that's ridiculous. Find another better paying job!!

Have you ever worked an entry level job that hires high schoolers? Cause they are shit (the jobs, not the high schoolers, lol) and they treat everyone like shit. Unless you are a girl and they are a pervert or beta male manager. Or they like you for some reason. Then you are just lucky.

This one high school girl was pretty cool and we wanted to go on our break together but the ******* manager said no (guy was younger than me) but he let these 2 twin brothers go on their break together.....

Then they made me stack all the water bottles from a pallet by myself. Had to move the whole pallet and stack them all myself. Now I love hard work like that, but it's the principal. Shit like that will really get to you after a while..

My first job as a teenager was fast food, and yeah it's a shit job.. but it's also a mindless job that requires no skill. These clowns think they deserve $15 an hour for putting burger patties on a grill.. that's about what the starting wage is for a skilled tradesman fresh out of vo-tech.

maybe $15 is worth less there than it is here.

regardless of the outcome, if I were the boss I would tell everyone who walked.. to keep walking because they quit by doing so.

there are many many many jobs which should pay more. fast food is NOT one of them.

those workers are fools.

Can we all agree that physically, the jobs are easy, but mentally/emotionally/psychologically they are tough in a sense?

I worked at Hardees on the grill when they had a real grill. toughest day was the day the owner had me 'pre-cook' 200 1/2 lb burgers (for his family reunion) between 11 and 12 while making the the regular food. [he final cooked them on his grill..at the reunion 'to order']

I also worked at Hardees as the Assistant manager. The hardest days were the back to back 1AM close and 5AM truck.

but, compared to an actual $15 per hour job.. fast food is easy.

Actual $15 per hour jobs; Heavy Assembler or Painter or Drywall Pro or Dump truck Driver or Cement truck Driver or Excavator Operator..
