Default need some help to choose a POS car

i'm looking for a car locally around +-2k.
i found a few cars. they range from 2400 to 1200.
on paper they seem to average out the same mpg. 23-26mpg.
but i need your guy's opinion on which of these would be the most reliable and to expect the most mpg from.
im having alot of trouble deciding which one to go for.

im leaning towards the miata cause its cheap, but it needs a new top.
i really really like the paint job on the gray 240i
and i also really like the red 240.
the crx fits the bill the most, lightweight small motor, good mpg and all that shit.

help me decide, your experience with these will help quite a bit, i've always bought new and never used, so i also dont know WTF to ask, look for in the cars.

im not sure if i missed it but they have to have a clean title.
may i have your opinion and help me choose?
i drive about 300-600 miles a week,reliability, mpg.

25ish in town. 30ish highway.

all the others have been modified which means they won't be as reliable as they could be. {or get as good of mileage as they would stock}

dont get a miata, parts are expensive and discontinued, i work at a mazda dealership, they are fun and good on gas but not something for a 'beater'. Old people bring them in here and we will 'refurbish' them more or less and they will drop 5K in them no problem

I would advise against buying a modified vehicle if you need something reliable.

You can't go wrong with any 90's Honda/Acura that has been taken care of.

1994 Honda Accord

It may not be what you had in mind, but these cars are one of the most reliable vehicles ever made. I've personally owned one with over 400k miles and multiple with over 300k.

If I were you I'd look for a corolla or a civic. I put 1000 miles a week on my rolla and it runs like a top.

I do deliveries for a living, I'm stripping out whatever car I get to save weight/gas, it's only gonna be me on this car. I'm taking everyone's feedback into account.
