Default Most important artists to car audio

Who do you guys think have been the biggest influence on car audio as far as music artists? I know my bass addiction would not be the same if it weren't for Jeezy or Lil Jon and I'm sure that goes for a lot of people out there

car audio is a broad term it could mean ear bleeding bass or crisp clean SQ....for me young jeezy got me into bass.....and non bass has got to be mettallica in my book (grew up on them)....these terms mean diffrent things to everyone else so whats everyone else think?

How about "Bass Mekanik" or the other pioneers of bass heavy musicians?

I was thinking more mainstream stuff. And let's face it, 95% of us got into car audio because of bass, not because of recording quality of a select few albums

doomsday productions - bukshot shells got me into bass. I used to play that song on my dads sony 15" 3 way home speakers back in high school. I was bumping them and he apparently heard me from outside and took them away cause they were his and he thought I would destroy them... the bass line is like 50hz so it's useless today, but it was my main motivation back in the day.

BTW if any audacity/fl studio gurus can add a 36-ish bass line and filter out the 50hz line, that would be awesome.

Three 6 mafia anyone? Fear factory? Kotton mouth kings? Beastie boys had some good bumps back in the day... nothing wrecking the lows but then again, I don't remember hearing many old school setups wrecking anything below 36hz..lol
