Default Does anyone else hate when songs split sound through left or right?

Listening to mac dre - leave me alone and the treble lines or whatever are only in the left speaker...I ****ing hate when songs do this. I always think it's my hearing, or the speakers are damaged or something.

How can I make all channels mono, but still retain balance and fader, without editing every single song in audacity, and causing problems with impedance and voltage at the RCA's?

Graham you would have hated the 70's Some of my favorite songs have a lot of stereo separation plus we had Quad systems and LP's and car stereos came with synthesized quad where they combined a little more left than right and visa versa in conjunction with front to rear to create pseudo quad. Maybe your Dad has some? "Welcome to the machine" wouldn't sound right without it. Just bridge everything or find some old school Xtant full range mono blocks. As usual your having more fun than should be legal with your chit

Shout out's are so 2010! It's as annoying as "It's all good" or "It is what it is"

I have a damn loud front stage so hearing the start of a great song followed with "shout out to my (insert racial slur) " and is usually twice as loud as the song its self is rather frustrating.

That's how stereo is supposed to work.. If all you listen to is rap I guess really all your looking for is blaring highs and bass so mono recordings would be fine. I'm sure audacity can sum songs into mono.. However, personally that would drive me nuts as all sound would be in the center of my vehicle and that would get boring very fast.. As opposed to having drums pan across the vehicle and instruments actually having seperate locations.
