Default wtf do I do now? paypal payment and shipping

someone has bought my 7kw amp.. however.. the address he wants me to ship to is not the address that's confirmed for me to ship to..

what do I do? I tried txting him upon seeing it and haven't heard back. the one he wants me to ship to is a ups box in CA, the confirmed is in MI. Do I ship to the MI one as it's confirmed but not what he wants? refund him? what? I don't want to ship to other addy he included in note area as I will not be covered. I don't know why he didn't put it as the confirmed addy but did include it in the note..

ugh.. advice?

sidenote- i'm not marking it sold until I hear back from him as I may need to refund.

nope, guy is on caraudio.com has 120 posts and join 7-xx-13. I think he's military but still.. I don't want to be out an amp then a claim be filed and I be out money as well.. but I don't want to displease someone as I have never had a bad feedback out of the 800+ transactions i've done.

you know me jeff, 5000000 questions prior to any transaction.

better safe then screwed... figure out what his address change reason is and if the names match at his new address... anyone that gets mail there can send you a picture of a piece of mail to know its real, or if you prefer, require him to change his address on paypal first

also possible hes sending it to someone else, but best be safe with that much cash

usually when someone sends money and wants to send it to a differnt address , they make a note of it when they send the money so that its recorded on paypal , that way you wont get scammed , and its recorded that they wanted it sent to a differnt address

doesn't have a name, says "pepperskids" :/.. lol can he change the confirmed address on a payment already sent? not aware of that.

I think the confirmed is where he lived.. and the shipping one is where he is stationed at currently.

is that ok to do though? if a claim is filed, can't they say I didn't ship to the confirmed address and i'm just S.O.L. ? paypal isn't someone i'd put full trust in acknowledging it saying it in the note.

if that's his new address and its non military, he can change it and send you a $1 so you can see his address is right... otherwise, ask for a piece of mail with the address your sending it to with his name on it

I would suggest calling paypal and having it confirmed that you are sending to the other address , that way they have it on file that he wanted to have it shipped to the other address , also when you add a tracking number it will show that it has been picked up at that address with proof of delivery

Only ship to confirmed address. I lost out on a $500 deal because dude said he moved. Shipped to address he asked than saw I was short $500 bc he told Paypal he never received item. Since it was not to his confirmed Paypal address, Paypal sent him his money back and I was out of luck in the whole deal. Since than I only ship to confirmed addresses, if I think I might get screwed I send with signature required. Protect yourself, you haven't sent the amp and you shouldn't have spent the money yet. It takes 1 minute to get confirmed address on Paypal. Literal guy did it while I packaged up his item than saw new address as confirmed.
