Default Do you like your boss at work?

Not sure if this has been discussed or not if so, sorry, if not....well lets get this started. I know we have some lame bosses out there as well as some down to earth you can talk to him/her about whatever and they'll listen.

Since my employment with the company, I've gone thru 4-5 bosses. This due in people getting fired, switched to different shifts, relocated to other parts of the company, etc. This person I've worked with before in the past when I 1st started. Here I am working under him again....on nights. He's cool so far. He's been with the company a long time. He knows me very well and knows what I'm capable of. I can usually and always work independently. So far, been working out great.

You....are self employed?

That's not very easy to do. Work everyday...no days off, even holidays.

I technically don't have a boss, the owner over sees the department, have a couple people with more seniority that give me projects but I can tell them to get bent if I don't want to do them. The owner is cool as sht tho. Plus I get paid to play with fire so can't really complain.

My boss was pretty badass. Grew up with his sons during childhood/highschool and one of them was even in my wedding. He started his own gas measurement company made up of family and close friends and he took me along for the ride. Our safety meetings then usually ended with us drinking beer till the women had to pick us up lol he sold the 8 man company to a lot bigger corporation and is now kinda Rollin in high cotton so it's not nearly the same. When he's not stressing out and talking about work he's still pretty cool but it's rare

My boss is an *******. Always in a bad mood, hates everyone. Always pushes me to work late and weekends.

Dammit, I'm self employed
