Most of us here on the forum use alot of electronics. From remotes, to cell phones, to our cars, they all use batteries.
I take any old car battery to my local recycling center where they pay $4 a battery!
I always save my old double A's, C's etc, until I have a bag full.
Then drop em off at the recycling center to where they are sent off and the lead is smelted, and the cases for batteries turned into everything from countertops- to new shells for batteries! Instead of the local landfill
I feel as a consumer, its my part to do something with all the stuff i'd throw away like bottles, cans, newspaper etc.
Keeping our land cleaner, and the ability to enjoy all this
Please try to do the same with your batteries! It's a start
