Default Hail damage input please

Last week we got hit with some baseball size hail in my neighborhood, broke every skylight and ravaged my car. I just got the word from my insurance company I'll be getting $6,000 for the damages. They had a 3rd part adjuster do the claim with everyone else in the area at the same time. My concern is if I should get a opinion of an actual shop that does the work or take that 6k n run? I'm not the type to give 2 fuqs about how my car looks n 6k would pay for tons of things I'd rather have than a dent free car. Tires, 6 alts for my blazer, new subs for my car, ect...

Is their $6,000 offer good or should i get an estimate to fix it to try to get more $?

Take the money and run. The worse the vehicle looks the more the thieves will stay away thinking it is a p.o.s.

I don't know what kind of vehicle it is but 6k seems very reasonable for hail damage.

2010 honda accord. I have zero experience with bodywork prices. I was quoted 6 dents per 1 square foot. Lol it's pretty beat up. I have talked to a few people and everyone is saying it's good. Thanks for the input guys.

I'll get some pics tomorrow. My phone's camera is on it's way out but I'll see what I can get. My bathrooms skylights have like 5 full break through shots. It's double pain plexiglass! They were exploding when hitting the ground but were bouncing whole off my roof (I rent). Never seen anything like it in my life.

Depending on your skylights and how many there are I wouldnt be so quick to take the $$

Skylight replacements will run From $400-$800 (or more) each depending on the style, your roof materials and who is available to do the work.
