*BASSRACE and STREET BEAT list songs* - Car Audio Classifieds

Start there. Get a cd/USB/Ipod/etc with as wide of a variety as you can, since you don't know where your car is peaking. I'd guess your peak will be high 40s or even up to the low 50s. But you might be peaking below your tuning. It's probably not happening, but it's possible, so just to be safe.

When you get to the comp, ask if you can play a sweep first, just to find your peak. Most judges will let you, and it'll tell you what song you want to use. From there, just find out where the beat starts. If/when bassracing, I start when I hear the T from the "Ready, Set Go". That's when I unpause. Try to get into the x9.x range as quickly as possible, since that makes for smaller adjustments towards the end of the run.

with that set up im guess yer doing the 39.9 class? yer gonna have to know yer resonant frequency. then find a song thats at or very close to it. yer gonna want to have an idea what DB ur at on the whole range of volume on yer deck (TL for practice). gonna want to time yer start as well. yer gonna want to get to yer classes DBs the closest and hold it the longest of course. i use a remote gain to dial in my 149.9 start with the head unit on 23. its easyer than trying to screw with the EQ, or just turning the volume up on the deck. i use ren da heat monsta - all american [email protected]
