Default Best Buy = Idiots

Clueless tool bags.....First I told this person to order a certain PC, BestBuy no longer had it and recommended a different one which was supposedly equivalent.... Yeah right, less powerful processor and video card and everything else about it made it a lower performer, yet was just as expensive...

Went with a PC from Newegg for about the same price but blows the BB one out of the water performance wise.

Ordered a 43" 4k Ultra Smart tv, got it yesterday....WTF, received a 40" 1080P tv from a totally different maker but the paperwork had the correct info on it...

Now my kids TV (Christmas present) wont be here till 12/30 at the soonest, supposedly....

My son has a 42 in his bedroom, they aren't that expensive. Bb is terrible unless you find something on sale. Amazon,newegg,or mono price for me

I would never have went through BB but it was the option which was given. I just cant believe they sent a totally different tv, the only thing the two tv's had in common is they are both smart TV's....

It's like they didnt even look at the paperwork before attaching it to the box...

I used to work at BB lol. There are morons and they are good knowledgeable people there too. Really depends on the experience the seller has. I have had poor customer service pretty much everywhere I can think of except specialty stores such as National Camera, Thorne Bros fishing gear, etc. The problem is with BB is that they give the employees "E-Learnings" to do to learn the products they sell. The problem is with those is that they are forced to get done in a time frame and every employee just zips through them to get them done so their supervisor doesn't get on their case about it. If they took the time to do one on one training for their products, it would be a better experience for the consumer.

BB hires young kids that don't care and only have the slightest clue about how to present correct information to the consumers. That alone is probably why you got frustrated with BB. The nice thing is that they do all the returns at the store and they are usually pretty good about getting things taken care of (as long as the product is in stock) right away. IF the product isn't in stock and no stores have them anymore because it was replaced by a new model, then you might be in for a ride and probably ending up paying more because of depreciation. Enough retail shenanigans for one day haha. Sorry for getting off track. Just being the representative for both sides of the spectrum.

Best buy hires minimum wage and high school students. It's no surprise that they are trained to sell and don't know shit about what they are selling.

I was shopping for a laptop and was told it runs games good but it certainly did not. It was a $1,000 sony laptop. Bloatware crippled it. I easily tripled performance by formatting and installing a fresh copy of windows.

I took it back and eventually opted for the HD netbook I have now. 720p 10" screen, HDMI and VGA output, plays 1080p videos in WMP @ 60fps, great netbook. I never use it but it's still awesome and I love how portable and small it is.

OH a side note, I had bought the clarion wq2510d with warranty for about $80. It was a solid 10" 500w rms sub. It was almost as loud as the JL 12w3v3 I had.

I got a new car and it resonates above 42hz, which fried 3 subs in a row. Luckily all under warranty and they eventually refunded the warranty in the end.

Wish they still had these cause I would get 4 of them and not unload them like I did...until the warranty was about to expire, that is.

unfortunately bestbuy varies store by store. A big problem is they like to cut cost. when ever someone works there way up on pay grade they like to find a reason to fire them and bring someone in for min wage. they look for reasons at that point. which means there is a constant revolving door of New people. soo its hit or miss if you meet someone who isnt a moron
