Default I caught a bird!

I was eating lunch in the shop and a baby Robin flew in. It hit the cieling, then the wall, then landed in the battery rack. I got the bird out of the battery rack and took it outside, but it didn't fly off my finger, lol.

I ended up putting it on the dash in my truck and it flew onto my steering wheel where it sat for the rest of my lunch break. It finally flew away by the time I got off work though

Just so you know... you killed it.

It will never be accepted back into its nest and will die in a matter of days. Nice going.

It true with small animals most of the time. I remember when I was 15 laying in the front yard getting a tan I felt something touch me. I figured it might be a grasshopper or praying mantis. I looked and it was a few small bunnies snuggling next to me. I picked them up and pet them for a while. Then I found the hole where they were supposed to be and put them in. I watched for a good while and the mother came back and took care of them like nothing happened.

Default I caught a bird!

Yeah that whole scent thing is bullshit. I've grabbed baby birds that have fallen out of the nests and put them back. The adult birds come right back and keep on keepin on.

Good job saving the baby bird Alex lol

Actually Lew-e is right, that myth has been busted.
Even if it were true, that bird is prolley too old to be fed by its mom.
