So I recently purchased a built 2005 Dodge Viper. Been looking to purchase one for a long time now and finally found one that I liked.
The motor was pulled and a performance block was installed and tuned by Todd at A&C performance. After the break in mileage they installed a Paxton S/C, fuel system, screamin demon ignition kit, m&m headers with a full 3" straight belanger exhaust, unitrac LSD and a few other odds and ends.
They installed a slightly larger pulley, pulled timing and did a basic mild tune mapping on the ECU. Being as the bottom end was stock they didnt want to push the car passed its limits for being a daily driver.
93 octane on 9lbs
It is loud and runs like a dream.
They did a few passes down the strip with it on drag radials on the stock diff and pulled mid 10s. On the last pass the stock rear diff gave away (weak point on the Vipers) so they installed a Unitrac LSD and never did another pull with it. Being as the car spun a ways down track on the stock diff it is a low 10 second car with the DRs and new LSD.
I have already started pulling things apart and upgrading some things. I am currently upgrading all the hoses with black coated stainless steel braided lines and replacing all the filters and connections.
