I bought xhifix's Clarion and he used click'n'ship through PP to ship it via Priority USPS mail. Seems simple enough, the mailing label is generated with my address and then he drops it off or they pick it up.
For the last couple of days the tracking info hasn't updated (which isn't unusual for the USPS, sadly) and today it updates saying that it's in Morristown TN for delivery... WTF? That is 236mi north of here!
I know it's not Wil's (xhifix) fault, he used click'n'ship which is pretty bulletproof. It's the post orifice.
Now I wonder if the CDT parts that Howard had sent to me and the fuse holder gboo sent (both never made it) are sitting in a bin in Tennessee.
To cover my ass I filed a PP dispute and called USPS and registered a complaint and Wil has also registered a complaint, he's cool with the dispute as he knows I'm just keeping on top of the situation, I'm actually sorry that I had to file it but better safe than sorry when it comes to money.
This isn't against Wil, rather just documenting why that you can't trust the oldest shipper in the US just on the fact that they've been in business for 100+ years. They invented zipcodes and yet they can't seem to keep things straight.
Wil, if you're reading this, I just want you to know that I think you're doing a great job. Please don't take this as a rant against you.
