Default Ebay Scam?

So I bid on a MB Quart DSC1500D and the seller ended the auction wayy early and the price seems too good to be true.

The seller has 17 100% positive transactions, but they have been as a buyer. He has no actual seller feedback.

The auction was suppose to go for 7 days and he ended it with 6 days still to go. Since he ended it early and I was the high bidder, I have "won" the item.

I'm honestly just worried about any possible scams that may come out of it. Usually when it's too good to be true, it generally is. I don't want to pay for the item, unless I'm pretty confident I won't get screwed. I could always file a claim or do a charge back, right? Has this happened to anyone else

did the auction run out and it end legit on ebay with you as the high bidder?

if he ended it early, then emailed you. do not buy that amp. and report him to ebay.

Sellers have the option to "END AUCTION" early. I bid on a nice a** HU (Nakamichi) once. It was at like $90 with like 1 day left. A few hours later, I get the email that it's no longer for auction. Probably because he didn't get the price he wanted that he ended the auction early. Anyway, did you actually get an email stating you won? Did you pay for it? If you did get an email and payed for it, I'd email the seller ASAP.

they can end early for local sale or if the unit is faulty. but they cannot end it early then dodge paypal fees and email you to sell it. thats seriously shady. he probably put it on ebay to see if there was interest at his price.

I just checked my ebay account a few minutes ago and it said that I had won the item. I read that a seller has the ability to end an auction early and the highest bidder at the time will win the item, but it ended at too good of a price IMO.

I sent the seller a message about his reasons for ending the auction so early so I'm just waiting on a response. I know there is generally good buyer protection on ebay and that I can always do a charge back, but I just want to make sure.

Well you won. He has to sell it to you. I'd email him and if he doesn't respond or won't sell, I'd contact Ebay immediately! Good luck bro. Let us know what happens.

check to see what else he's selling....if he ends any other auctions early then he may be scamming...usually scammers will list alot of expensive stuff and when they get decent amount of bids, they end the auctions, collect the money and dissappear. its happened to me..but i lost $860 along with 6 other people.but i hope im wrong and id be happy that you got a good deal!
