Default which would you pick

2000 Yamaha Grizzly 600
1365 miles
new wheels/tires
2500lb winch
45 miles away

2002 Yamaha Grizzly 660
527 miles
needs:
seat cover replaced
lens for break light replaced
gas shut off knob needs fixed (broken off)
tires are ok but wouldnt hurt to replace them
460 miles round trip to get it

2004 Polaris Sportsman 600
2920 miles
2500lb winch
shifter is loose (doesnt cause any issues other than not hearing it click into gear)
wouldnt hurt to replace wheel bearings and bushings
tires are 65% so they would work for spares
70 miles away

the 02 is owned by an older couple and used on their farm. its been used for very light use but they want 3000 out of it. even with low miles its just not worth 3000 anymore. they also have no way of meeting me half way which means a 4 hour drive to go get it. i offered 2500 which is mid range of what its worth. considering id have to drive i wanted to offer less but its a nice bike so i was being fair.

The polaris will give you the most problems, belts get wet very easy, and they go through belts like gas, the 2000 is nice, but the 2002 you will gain the 660cc 42hp from 36hp out of the 600, diff lock, and a fully sealed drive train! So I vote 2002 660, and hang on they are one hell of a ride!

for what it is thats probably my #1. its just a matter of the distance and they wont budge on the price. its just not worth 3000 anymore.

I sold my 04 Kodiak 450 with 1300miles for $3400 so 3000 for a low mile and that clean of a 660 Grizzly, I think its worth that, you will never loose your ass on that, and most likely never do anything major on it, that polaris was a joke new, and with 4500miles its a has been, the 2000 600 looks like its been rode hard, and the Kawasaki is to old to be a good Kawasaki there new stuff is sweet but not the older ones, and iirc the 02 has independent rear suspension, but I cant remember when they switched the grizzlys, i know the kodiaks got irs in 05!
