Default Thanks kumho!

Now my build gets held up even longer! This happened last night. I was just driving on the freeway and pop, there goes my tire. And no my tires weren't underinflated, I checked at least every other day. And do you guys remeber that thread Steve started about how the walls on his Kumho's started cracking, well I think that's what happened to mine but mine just skipped the cracking stage. If you remember the thread I started a while back about mine cracking, just know that it wasn't the same tire.

My friends having a bit more fun about the whole situation than I was.

And now that you've seen the pictures maybe you'll agree that Kumho's lo-pro tires have weak walls, or corners I guess you can say. Because if you notice in the picture the sides of the tire are still on the rim, it was just the part that the car rides on that came off completly.

You can try for that warranty claim... if it's legit they{Kumho} already know and you might get four free tires.
You gotta mind your tire pressure man! Low Pros will support the car even when they go flat(but not while moving).......I know you said you did..

gotta say though... That is one hell of a sight!

btw..
the tire repair guy is going to cuss that thing.. rings are hard as hell to get off wheels

Will I still be able to do a warranty claim if I didn't buy the tires? I bought the car with those rims and tires on it already.

Tire pressure always stayed around where it was supposed to, the lowest it would get is like 2-3psi under where it was supposed to be then it was back to get some more air.

No, sorry, most companies don't do anything if you didn't personally buy the tires.

what size are the tires?

Yeah, I didn't think they would. But that's ok cuz even if they did give me a new set I would have just sold it cuz I want to get away from Kumho's now. They haven't really treated me good at all.

They're 255/30/R24s.

Yeah, I know. And even if it did happen I wouldn't be paying this much for the tire. A friend of mine said that he just bought tire and he said that one of my tires is going to cost what he paid for his set of 4.
