Default I'm not too smart.

As the title says, I'm admitting it.

I'm not very smart.

I have a piece of 1/4" plastic airline laying here, so I decide I want to slice it open lengthwise.

So I whip out my boxblade (folding craftsman pocket knife with interchangable razorblades) and start slicing. I noticed the blade was headed straight towards my fingers/palm and I paused and said to myself, I'm going to hurt myself....

So I repositioned my hands and got back to work. Well the blade slipped out and it pissed me off, so I went to put it back in the kerf and couldn't get the blade to line up with the cut right so I was trying to spread the line with my hand while moving the knife around and it popped off the corner of the hose at the entrance of the kerf and went into my thumb right behind the nail on top of my finger.

Why didn't I listen to myself and stop while I wasn't hurt?

Maybe I'm emo and like to cut myself?

Nah, I'm just an idiot.

Does anyone else do stuff like this? Or get mad at something and throw it/something or hit something and end up hurting yourself worse or breaking something?

I have stories about that as well. lol

My dad was showing my brother how to cut and lay boat carpet and ended up with seven stitches holding the tip of his thumb on. {knife was sharper than he was}

How far should a guy go for demonstration of what not to do?

I'm afraid that is what it will end at.

A while back I kept telling myself I needed to slow down on the highways but I couldn't do it. I knew I was either going to die or get a big ass ticket/jailtime if I didn't slow down (I'd set the cruise control in the Z at 110-120 on the highway)

Well I finally slowed down after getting a $411.50 ticket for 165 in a 75. I was lucky he didn't impound the bike and throw me in jail.

Did you dad stop and say to himself, "Self, if I keep cutting this like I am, I'm going to hurt myself." Then kept cutting anyways? lol

I do stupid stuff all the time like this. i am forever slamming my fingers in doors. get pissed and slam a door and my finger ends up in it. Then have to get a drill bit out to drill my fingernail. then wait til it falls off.

My dad was workin on a trailer one night and had a grinder out and got pissed and started being careless and ended up with a 4 inch gash in his thigh
