Default Ok Frog guys. step in.

ok so im looking for a few frogs to add to my pond. but i dont want frogs that are normal. soemthing that will eat insects is a plus. not sure if they all do. idk shit about frogs. but all i know is i get plenty of insects by my damn pond and i know theres enough food. they would be in there with my 14 koi.

anything colorful that will stay put and not wonder off?

Get some bullfrogs. They're big enough the fish won't eat them and they eat a buncha insects.

4,500 gallons? I would look at Green frogs. They're about the size of bullfrogs, but not quite that big.

I don't think you can buy a domestic one to keep in the pond without it wondering off. I know dumpys are some of the calmest tho. I had one when i was kid and it barely hopped. But DON'T hold frogs with your bare hands. Your natural oils and secretions kills them
You could try to catch a few and just put them near the pond to see if they'll stay but i wouldn't suggest pet store frogs since they're supposed to be tanked and have a VERY stable habitat.
