I went out to one of my good old friends machine shops tonight to catch up on old times. We used to build mini buggies together a few years ago before I got into the stereo scene.

I figured some people might get a kick out of this.

Front buggy has a turbo Suzuki Hayabusa engine in it. Estimated at 310 HP after completion.

The normal Hayabusa one is around 20K. The ones in the pictures will be sandblasted and powder coated when everything else is complete.

The one that was built awhile ago had a ZX9R engine in it and it did 85 in 3rd gear (2 more gears to go). I was never with when Doug tried going for the land speed record on it.

The one I built for myself had a Yamaha R6 engine on it and it would do wheelies in 2nd gear on pavement (was geared wrong for top speed, not what I was going for). Mine was more of a "budget" build though and a design I did myself.

I'm sure the Hayabusa's make the ZX9R one look like a toy now. One can change the gearing in the rear bulkhead to better suit what you're looking for. (Top end, low end, etc) I'm sure they get over 150 easy.
