Default Well, I Have Learned My Lesson.

Friday night I went to a party with a few friends, I didnt drink much due to the fact i had work at about 6:30. I got in the car with a drunk driver and it will be the last time. I have driven drunk and i have driven with drunk people, but this was a very rude awakening. I have decided I am completely done drinking until I am atleast of age. I see drunk car crashes on the news all of the time but never thought it would happen to me. Like the reporter said it is pretty amazing no one was killed, and I am very glad we are all alive still. I have some abdominal injuries but nothing critical i spent the night in trauma and 2 days in cardiac because they were having issues with my heart rate. I was the only one to go the hospital (the one you see on the stretcher) thank god the driver hit parked cars and no innocent people were hurt or killed. Needless to say my friend is going to feel it from the law and I am feeling it in my ribs and back. I was in the back right seat and the only one wearing a seat belt other than the driver. I know we are dumb and there is no excuse, but maybe this is what i needed to make me open my eyes and cut out the stupid shit, and appreciate life a little more.

glad you are ok. sometimes it takes one mistake for you to learn your lesson. i rolled my truck 3 times and landed upside down in a ditch to learn my lesson and since then i have become a calmer, more relaxed driver and its changed my style of driving.

Sorry to hear it, man. Hopefully your friend will be ok legally. The important thing is that you learned your lesson from this situation. It took me a few arrests to do so lol, so you're smarter than me.

wow you got lucky man. I definitely learned something from this. he asked me to drive and i said i wouldnt because i had decided a little while ago that i was never going to drink and drive, no matter how little i drank.
