Default PayPal - Ebay Issue....

Ok so I had I had Quickbooks POS Software and Hardware bundle ( this is this ebay ad ) from my old shop. I put it up for sale on ebay a lady from cali emailed me for more info. i gave her that info. Before you bought it she called the quickbooks 800 number listed in the ad they told her the same thing they told me there would be no issue transferring the license to her.

She buy it pays for it, I ship it all out fedex ground the next day. She gets it puts in the transfer for the licensee I thought I was done at this point. 2 or 3 weeks later quickbooks says no they will not transfer the licensee to her because I did not sell her my company and give her quickbooks. I was like WTF..

So I go round and around with quickbooks about this they told me and her there would be no issue but after it was sold they would not honer there own words. So this lady goes and disputes the charge with paypal saying the stuff I sent her was damaged and wanted her money back. I was like WTF and replied and won that, 2 days latter she charges back with her credit card company and the $1,300 comes back out of my account. I have emailed her 3 times to return the stuff with NO reply so now.

So now she has $1,300 worth of stuff and my $1,300. I won the dispute with paypal but the charge back they are saying could take up to 60 days I don't have $1,300 toe even out my account just yet. So wanted to see if any one has any suggestions. I have tried calling and can never get her and she does not reply to emails.

Open to ideas I would at least like to make sure the stuff gets returned in case I lose the charge back with her bank or should I just stay on paypal to try and win the charge back. Because I did not do anything wrong quickbooks did now I will be out of shipping either way. grrrr.. plus paypal hit me for $25 charge back feee..

This lady also never asked to return it only to try and talk to quickbooks for her.

unless you can prove that she did this with the intent to scam you i would say you are ****ed....if you have her addy i would tell here to return your goods or you will call her local PD...if they have a net crimes task force you can go that route or you could go the civil way and sue but either way you should have all her info..all this depends on you also her's and your local laws...but if the credit company has taken the money back she told them you scamed her and that paypal failed her and there wil be nothing paypal can do for you but hell for 1300 i might show up at her front door....

honestly its not my style but your best bet may be to at the very least use the net to find the number to her local PD call them and see what can be done...tell them you feel you were ripped off via the net by such and such person and would like to know if anything can be done....at the very least it may put some fear in her and get your merch back but i say fill up the car or trunk and let your wife at her lol
the reason you got screwed if because ebay owns paypal and they only care about the buyer and even though the claim they do they have no real seller protection
i have had paypal lock down thousands of legit money because i made it on ebay "too fast" they said......it took the better part of 180 days to get it back and this was without a single dispute

Yeah you probably will have to call the cops... but if that is not your style, I guess you have to go talk to her in person, or just rob her back~ Put in the order you should probably attempt first lol.

But even if you do get into a lawsuit with her, court means nothing. I know awhile back somebody I know bought a laptop, returned it because it did not function properly, the guy gave a new one, and it did the same thing, he took back and never gave money or product ($600). He got sued, didn't show, after about 3rd time not showing and losing, they took him to jail, could not leave until he put his bank account info... he put Bank of America, got out, never paid back a dime because saying Bank of America does not help take funds away.

Paypal is ****ed up. They hold the seller hostage. I used to sell all sorts of stuff on ebay, but now I have to really need money to throw stuff on there.
