Default I need some Traffic ticket advice

I just got pulled over about an hour ago doing 71 in a 55 which is a 4 point violation in Viriginia, i didnt say anything to the officer that would say that i meant to do it but i am a minor ( 16 ), is there anything i can to to lighten the effect of what this might do to me insurance/court wise.

best knowledge i can give you here in illinois we dont gets points(that im aware of) its 2 tickets in a year or something and you can kiss your license goodbye for a few months if not awhile(my friend i believe was 6 months)
I was doing 83 in a 45 ended up with a 3xx ticket and court suprvision or w.e for 6 months (cant get another ticket in that time otherwise they both go on record)

i wish you the best of luck

The DMV thing for my state says that for the first offense if convicted i will have to take a court odered 8 hour driver improvement course within 90 days to satisfy the court. But my mother told me the judge could still take my license anyway.

Don't speed. Not worth it because the insurance companies already see you as a "High Risk". Now they see you as a higher risk and your rates will go up.

more than likely your insurance will go up as stated.. dont ask me but i have no idea how i kept mine from going up.. if they do it will be like that for a while and will put an even bigger strain on you(if you pay insurance)

In my state, you can take a driving class on a first offense. It you take the class, they drop the ticket and all you have to do is pay court costs. No points go on your record. But you'll have to ask the court if that is an option where you live.

tell the judge you screwed up and you looking for a break. Usually that gets me off the hook.
