Default My generation sucks.

I live in California, the most backwards state in the ****ing US. I dont know if any of you know about Prop 19 but it is for legalizing marijuana, for the past month all i have seen on facebook is stupid ass kids arguing about why 19 should be passed or not, for those of you who dont live in california, it costs $40 for a medical card and you can get one for just about any reason (i have a friend with a my card that said he had an issue with paranoia, how the **** does weed fix that? it just makes you more paranoid) so there is no reason for it to be legalized its basically legal. We have much bigger propositions to worry about other than ****ing weed and it just drives m NUTS, i had to vent.

Well if you really want to talk about this. Why not think about all the money the government will bring in on taxes for the selling of it. See your just looking at the small picture. If the government puts a 10% tax on it they make 10 dollars on every 100 that the medical marijuana stores make. Now if you think about your typical pot head he is more than likely going to spend anywhere from 100-200 dollars per week on pot. Less for an occasional smoker. Anyway, if you take the number of people that are actually going to be buying it multiply it by that 10 dollars it's a multimillion dollar idea to bring money into the government. People think that legalizing marijuana is dumb and we have better things to worry about. Well if you think about it there will be more jobs etc due to the groweries etc that need to be buit to grow and distribute the marijuana. Also it will boost the rest of the economy being able to possibly lower land tax and school tax. Open your eyes man. Marijuana legalization is the future.

Most of the people who are against it anyway era from the "Refer Madness" area anyway. Once they all finally die out this will all get passed with no issues what so ever.

i never said whether i was gonna vote yes or no, my issue is that all these people are gonna hit the polls strictly to vote for 19 and have no idea what they are voting on other props, they are just gonna be filling in boxes, and a significant number of votes are going to be aimless. also there are some props that are much more important i think, such as D. veryones down to pay mad taxes on weed but cant do .5 of a cent tax raise to put a little more money in our police/firefighters/emt's pockets, its ****ing stupid. if people are looking at D as a way to save they economy then they should be down for any tax raise whether its going towards weed or coming out of their paychecks, right?
