Default I are teh sick, I has teh flooooooooo!

I just spent $130 and I'm missing 5 days of work because I didn't want to spend $22 on the company "funded" flu vaccine this year. Of course I haven't had a flu shot since '98 and have never got the flu before but being -$600 (cost of drugs, doctor and a weeks take-home) because I didn't beat the odds suxors.

On the upside I won't have to lose any sleep waiting for UPS to bring me my recone tomorrow... I don't have to work.

Woot for new recone. What all did he do different? Be carefull not to loose the little nuts on the ring for the spider. Them things are tiny. Oh, and get better soon.

Um, woven tinsels and dual spiders. Aside from that I won't know until I get it. I told him I still wanted the heavy cone and as low of a FS as possible but that I needed more control on the cone for IB use. I also requested progressive spiders over the linear one on the last recone but I dunno if that's possible owing to the fact it has to clamp under that ring. The tip about the tiny nuts is duly noted, thanks!

Thanks everyone for wishing me well, I hate being sick.

Yeah being sick sux big, hope you feel better. Mix a little rum into your tea will help.

BTW it is not commonly known about the flu shots(at least not where I am), but if you have an allergy to soy DO NOT get one. I made this mistake and thought I got sick right after getting it. Turns out it was a massive allergic reaction to the soy base they use for it. My Mother told me about this after I got one. And they are free here.

Rum and tea eh? It's too bad that I don't drink either. BTW, sucks about the soy thing, thank god you're not lactose intolerant or you'd be screwed all the way around. Nice that the vaccinations are free though, Canada health care FTW!

Yeah the year I did get one was a living hell for a week really thought I was dying. I am surprised that I am not lactose intolerant as I could fill a book with all my allergies. Fatally allergic to bee stings, peanuts and all shellfish. NO lobster, crab, or shrimp for me. Not fatal but if it has fur or leaves I am allergic to it. Claritin, and golfing FTW. LOL I don't drink either so Nyquil and a big and bed time Works rather well, don't feel much better but can sleep real good. lol
