Default Tips to stay awake

Ok guys it is me again bored as hell at work. I noticed I have been drifting in and out of consciousness for like the past 3 to 4 hours, and I think I took a nap while I was on the crapper. I have been awake because I'm whooping ass on solitare, but just not aware of anything going on around me, daydreaming pretty much.

I was wondering if anyone has any tips to help keep me alert and awake on the long slow nights.

And for the record, I have played 376 games of spider solitare since the week before Thanksgiving, and I only work 3 and a half days a week.

Pinch your earlobes, hard as hell.

Aside from that, Monster Hitman, 6 Hour Power, 5hr Energy.

Or loud music...

lol loud music actually puts me to sleep. My parents can't figure that out. I guess thats why an alarm wont wake me up.

I get fresh air when I take the trash out. And I walk around the shop and talk to mechanics but they can't just stand around and talk all night.

And I've tried coffee, mountain dew, and monster but they wear off too fast and I don't like to live off cafeene. Might try one of those 5 hour energies though.

Just tried the ear lobe thing and it didn't even make my blank facial expression change. lol It takes a lot of pain to even get to me. Like I burned my finger when playing with a torch earlier and that got a bit of a reaction out of me. lol

It just sucks working a 12 hour shift with absolutely nothing to do. The mechanics have trucks and trailers to work on to pass the time. I have an FM radio from like the 70's in here to listen to, and IT watches how long we use IE, so I can't just stay on CACO all night while it is dead, or craigslist/ebay.

If the mechanics aren't getting parts I have nothing to do. But I have to be here no matter what because they do need parts, and truckers sometimes call in and ask if we have stuff, or ask how something works and they also stop in a pick up parts and all that good stuff. So I get paid to wait. I need to get a game for my psp. I already beat the game I have for it right now 3 times here.

If I can get in a good discussion with someone on here/msn that makes the time fly by, but nothing ever happens at night.

Well, I know what you mean about being bored at work. This week I've been doing afternoons at work, and we are REALLY slow this time of year. Out of my 8 hour shift I have maybe 30 minutes of work to do. I worked nights for awhile also, maybe these will help you out.

1. 5 Hour Energy
2. Cigarettes
3. Books
4. Bring your PSP
5. Bring a laptop/netbook
6. TV you can watch?

If I paid her minimum wage I would make a whopping $4.50/hr. lol

I'm not supposed to leave the parts room really because you never know when someone is gonna show up at the window. I don't really wanna start smoking again but I've thought about it. My psp is boring cuz I don't have any new games. Don't have a laptop, and if I did with a wireless internet card, I can only get 1 bar of cell phone signal in the parts room so I wouldn't even be able to have internet. And the drivers lounge has dish network, but it is directly in front of my only boss at night.
